Beats From Dust — Pulse Of Dakar

Photography/ Senegal

In 2008, Shannon Michael Terry traveled to Thiaroye, Dakar, Senegal as producer of Boujou Badialy Cissoko's album Dialy the Storyteller — recording Badialy's sisters for the record. These photographs are a document of that experience: the streets, the light, the people, and the texture of daily life surrounding the sessions.
